Your Coach

Garrie Prosser
I have been coaching triathletes for the past 25 years. Initially, I was the Head Coach at Rossendale Triathlon Club. However, in 2010, I decided to shift my focus towards coaching individual athletes as I am passionate about this aspect of coaching. In 2018, I left my job as a Specialist in Physical Activity in the NHS to follow my passion and founded Peak XV Tri Coaching. Since then, I have coached many triathletes and helped them succeed at all distances. I particularly enjoy coaching athletes towards competing at both 70.3 and full Ironman distance.
Among the athletes I coached in 2024, two qualified for the Ironman World Championship, three qualified to represent GB at the age group World Championships and one qualified for the 70.3 World Championships.
As a former age group champion across all distances, I understand the challenges of balancing training with life’s other obligations. That’s why I specialise in creating customised training plans that fit around my clients’ busy schedules.
In addition to coaching, I also work as a freelance Tutor for British Triathlon, where I deliver their Coach Education programme for new coaches.
