Swim Coaching – Swim Squad
We provide two options for our swimmers to choose from:
Option 1: Swimmers can pay a standing order of £24.00 per month, entitling them to attend one session per week on Monday or Thursday. This option is the most affordable and convenient way to join our squads.
Option 2: We also offer a limited Pay-As-You-Go option that is ideal for those who cannot commit every week. Swimmers can book individual sessions in advance using our booking app, Spond. The cost to attend as a PAYG member is £7.20, which includes the booking fee.
You don’t need a membership to join our sessions, and our friendly and supportive atmosphere makes everyone feel welcome and included.

Ironman & Open Water Swim Coaching
Many of our athletes are training for Ironman and other triathlons that require you to be an open water swimmer. Our sessions are designed to help you be an excellent open-water swimmer; some are Ironman and open-water specific.
We offer two weekly swim sessions, covering all abilities, as shown below.
Monday
Our swim session on Mondays is designed to help experienced swimmers improve their endurance. The session is perfect for those swimming 400 meters in under 12 minutes. During the session, you will be challenged to swim a distance of around 2700 meters, which will help you build your endurance and stamina.
Head Coach Garrie will guide you and push you to your limits, ensuring you get the most out of the workout. This session is not for the faint-hearted but is a great way to challenge yourself and take your swimming to the next level.
After the session, you’ll feel tired but satisfied, knowing that you’ve accomplished something great. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to see you at our next session.
Thursday
- Our Thursday evening swim session is tailored for beginner to advanced swimmers who are looking to enhance their swimming technique.
- Our experienced coaches use a range of specialised drills to target specific areas of technique such as breathing, body positioning, catch and pull.
- We also provide individualized feedback and guidance to help each swimmer improve their technique. Whether you are looking to refine your technique for competitive swimming or simply looking to improve your overall swimming ability, our Thursday evening session is the perfect opportunity to take your swimming to the next level.

Garrie Prosser
Garrie has 15+ years experience of triathlon swim coaching, Garrie is also a British Triathlon L3 Coach and has completed the Swim Smooth Three-Day Coach Course.
Matt Pemrick
As well as being a really nice bloke Matt is also a very suceessful age group triathlete. He is also a British Triathlon L2 Coach.Matt usually coaches at our later Monday session.
