Your Coach
Garrie Prosser
I have been coaching triathletes for the past 25 years. Initially, I was the Head Coach at Rossendale Triathlon Club. However, in 2010, I decided to shift my focus towards coaching individual athletes as I am passionate about this aspect of coaching. In 2018, I left my job as a Specialist in Physical Activity in the NHS to follow my passion and founded Peak XV Tri Coaching. Since then, I have coached many triathletes and helped them succeed at all distances. I particularly enjoy coaching athletes towards competing at the 70.3 distance. I am thrilled that this distance is returning to my hometown of Bolton, and I can’t wait to coach athletes for this event.
Among the athletes I coached in 2023, two qualified for the Ironman World Championship, three qualified to represent GB at the age group World Championships and one qualified for the 70.3 World Championships in Finland.
As a former age group champion across all distances, I understand the challenges of balancing training with life’s other obligations. That’s why I specialise in creating customised training plans that fit around my clients’ busy schedules. In addition to coaching, I also work as a freelance coach for British Triathlon, where I help train new coaches through their Coach Education Program.
